Venue
Established in 1995, Australian Technology
Park (ATP) is a scientific and technological research
and development precinct located less than four kilometres
from Sydney's Central Business District.
Spread over 13.8 hectares, the Park occupies the site
of the old Eveleigh Railway Workshops. Built in the
late 19th century - and once the largest and most technologically
advanced workshops in the southern hemisphere - the
original structure now houses ultra-modern services
and facilities contained within the shell of beautifully
preserved buildings that hark back to the age of steam.
OZTeK'09 Conference
Formerly the workshop's boiler shop and foundry, Bay
4 - as with the entire facility - has undergone a dramatic
restoration makeover to create an exciting conference
and exhibition venue that ranks as one of the finest
in Australia.
Incorporating a state-of-the-art, 520-seat auditorium
with comfortable, fixed tiered seating, a curved stage
and full A/V presentation facilities, the smaller rooms
adjacent to the theatre and atrium provide ideal settings
for the various breakout workshops and seminar sessions
associated with OZTeK'09.
OZTeK'09 Exhibition
Both the adjoining atrium and banquet room have been
re-configured to ensure maximum exposure for exhibitors
choosing to take advantage of this unique opportunity
to reach an interested audience of qualified customers.
Effortless ground floor access to the exhibition area,
(and the 'wheel-in; wheel-out' ease of set-up and dismantling
their stands) eliminates many of the problems that exhibitors
commonly experience with other venues.
Other key features of Australian
Technology Park include:

from Sydney Airport, the ATP is within a ten-minute
taxi or train ride from Sydney's city centre.
• Direct platform access from Redfern Railway Station.
• Less than 1 km from Railway Square, Sydney's largest
bus interchange
• Easy street access with on-site security parking for
600 vehicles.
